We all have bad days, but there is always something you can do to stop the struggle.
Stopping the struggles
When people are adversely affected by downturns, many become stressed and look for something new, a quick fix, or to start a new business as action their ‘Plan B’.
Avoid comparing your life to others unless you have an understanding of what their journey is all about. Try some benchmarking, focus on analysing your business compared to others.
Are feeling frustrated because things in your business or your life don’t seem to be progressing as you had hoped. Then it’s time to stop worrying and do something about it.
A good place to start is to do some analysis of the important parts of your business and uncover ideas and ways to move forward again.
Someday, at some point, every door is closed, every key turned for the last time and that’s why, when you think about it, the life we build along the way is the only thing that really matters.
Don’t get desperate because things are not working out right now. Stop, find a nice place to relax, think, reflect on your life so far and the issues you are facing and to contemplate what’s possible and start scratching out a new plan for the future.
Stop trying to force the business work in the same old way. If you’ve given it adequate time to succeed or for you to see results, but nothing is happening, stop and try doing things differently. But before you do anything , so some analysis.
It’s really quite simple. Do some good analysis of why things are not working out and you will, more than likely, start to action important changes.
Don’t become a desperate
Are you guilty of frantically looking for the one thing that will finally work for you? A
silver bullet to end your woes and fill your bank account and let you spend your time on what you like doing?
In desperation, many try any ‘opportunity’ then decide, without putting in the required effort, it doesn’t work. Then they try another and another until they discover the never-ending supply of ‘magic success buttons’, or ‘get rich quick schemes’, that are the modern world of the Internet. They get involved with many questionable, so-called gurus each selling their own ‘scheme of the month’. They think “this looks like it will make me some quick money’ and away they go again.
“It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change”. Charles Darwin
Because they don’t have experience associated with building and running a real business, they try to become successful through the ways of an opportunity seeker. Then they realise it’s much more difficult than they thought, and to make matters worse, it’s far less effective than they hoped. These people, are desperate to have a real business.
There are always better ways
There are always ways and means to get what you want out of life and it’s not as hard as you might think. You will hear us use the word ‘fun’, because if there is no fun people do not perform well at whatever they are trying to do.
So where does the fun start? By finding your passion, what you really like doing and are good at and then becoming action oriented until things start to work for you. Sounds simple enough, but if you are passionate about something and you work to your strengths, you might be surprised just how things start to work in your favour.
However, it is not much fun if you are up to your armpits in cash flow and funding problems. None the less these too are fixable.
There was a time when everything seemed to be working well for you. To find out what happened, it is a good idea to look back at what really worked well for you and when you felt really motivated, there will be clues to your future.

- Identify your passion.
- Understand your strengths.
- Stop worrying and take action.
- Have a Business Health Check carried out
- Stop, relax, think, reflect and plan.
- Stop doing the same old, same old.

- Come up with new strategies and actions that work.
- Focus on the how too.
